*DRAFT APR.IL 27, 2020 BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES* 7 Board of Selectmen Minutes April 27, 2020 NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Proval of Weight's and Measures.Services Intermu . A greement Between the Town of Barnstable and the Town of Mash ee: The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Intermunicipal Agreement between the Town of Barnstable and the Town of Mashpee for Weights and Measures Services. The term shall commence on July 1, 2020, to be automatically renewed each year and reviewed b the Y respective parties every three years, unless terminated, for a maximum not to exceed 25 years. This is a new agreement that is deemed cost effective for the Town of Mashpee Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Intermunicipal Agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Town of Barnstable for Weights and Measures Services and to further authorize the Town Manager to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Board of Selectmen. Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Margaret�a.ret Bent-. Correspondence was received from Deborah Dami, Town Clerk recommending the appointment of Margaret g Bent to,the Board of Registrars. A letter of interest was attached to the recommendation from Ms. Bent requesting to be reappointed. Ms. Bent is a registered Democrat in the Town of Mashpee. Motion made.by Selectman Sherman to reappoint Margaret Bent to the Board of Registrars for a term to expire; March 31,2023. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
