Marie Stevenson, JoAnn Nadeau, Patty DeBoer, Richard Klein, Winnie <br /> Johnson-Graham, Cheyenne Hendricks (Non-Voting) <br /> Also Present: Human Resource Director Kim Landry <br /> Absent: Gail Wilson, Susan Wilson, Mohamad Fand, William Baker(Non-Voting) <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The remote meeting was opened by Chairwoman Stevenson at 10:05 a.m., without a quorum. <br /> Guests Police Chief Scott Carlin and Dan Kupferman were virtually present at the meeting. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES August 11, 2020 & September 8,2020 <br /> The minutes were placed on hold to await a quorum to vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> None at this time. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> The Chair reported that emailed correspondence was received from a member of the Board of <br /> Selectmen in Holbrook, interested in establishing a similar committee. The Chair has been in contact. <br /> Additionally, the Chair had invited Bill Nay from Mashpee TV to participate in discussion regarding <br /> any potential ideas or programming. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> None at this time. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Public Statement Approved & Published-The Chair confirmed that the public statement <br /> approved by the Committee had been published in the newspaper under the category "Public <br /> Comment." <br /> Multiple Committee Forum-The Chair has followed up with attendees from the February <br /> MIDC meeting, noting enthusiasm from the other groups regarding their interest in meeting virtually <br /> as a forum. The Town of Mashpee has agreed to allow use of their Zoom account to accommodate the <br /> meeting. Ms. Nadeau would also be assisting with the forum to discuss addressing diversity activities <br /> with Covid limitations. <br /> Chamber of Commerce Update- The Chair reported that she had been in contact with the <br /> Chamber of Commerce regarding the potential for developing a Welcome Wagon and town-wide <br /> slogan. The Director of the Chamber has expressed interest and has suggested that the Chair submit <br /> suggestion to be included in their bulletin. <br />
