Marie Stevenson, Winnie Johnson-Graham, JoAnn Nadeau, Gail Wilson, Susan <br /> Wilson, Richard Klein, Mohamad Fand, William Baker(Non-Voting), Cheyenne Hendricks (Non-Voting) <br /> Also Present: Selectman John Cotton, Human Resource Director Kim Landry <br /> Absent: Patty DeBoer <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The remote meeting was opened by Chairwoman Stevenson at 10:04 a.m., with a quorum. Guests Dan <br /> Kupferman and Ryan, from The Enterprise, were virtually present at the meeting. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES August 11, 2020, September 8, 2020 & October 13, 2020 <br /> There were no changes suggested to the minutes, other than correcting the October minutes which had been <br /> mis-labeled September. <br /> MOTION: Ms. Johnson-Graham made a motion to accept the September minutes. Ms. S. Wilson <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION: Ms. Nadeau made a motion to accept the minutes for August. Ms. S. Wilson seconded the <br /> motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> The Chair thanked The Enterprise for their report on Police Chief Scott Carline's presentation during the last <br /> meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> None at this time. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> None at this time. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> None at this time. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Human Rights Club/Academy-The Chair reported that she continued to be in contact with Ms. Purdy, <br /> who, along with Ms. Reynolds, was working on a way for the Club to meet virtually. The Human Rights <br /> Academy scheduled a Zoom Academy Program for November 18, 12p-2p. The Chair would be in attendance <br /> and an effort was being made to identify a way for all Club member to attend. <br /> The Chair reported that Ms. Hendricks was working on developing a program to create a"Welcoming Group" <br /> to reach out to new students in the middle and high schools. In the absence of the traditional new student <br /> breakfast, the group would create a welcoming experience by providing school information, as well as distribute <br /> gift cards from the school store. Ms. Hendricks would be drafting goals and identifying new students, and it <br />
