In August, 19.60, we set up a number of rules and regu- <br />lations governing sewage, waste, and well location. These <br />regulations have been passed by legislature and made laws. <br />We must rule accordingly! <br />All motels, restaurants, camps, trailer coach parks, eating <br />establishments swimming pools and wading places were in- <br />spected and given permits to operate in accordance with the <br />lE sanitary code. <br />Due to the over load of work the Falmouth Nursing <br />Association was, unable to assist the town this year as they <br />have in the past. Without their assistance, this made our <br />work that much heavier. However, in September (1960) we <br />were able to hire a town nurse. Her efficient services have <br />f been highly appreciated by all. <br />na, <br />In October we found it necessary to acquire a dentist with <br />.! t an office location closer to the town of Mashpee, because of <br />1 the inadequate facilities provided at the school for dental <br />care.. <br />,y Through a dental survey, we found that the children in <br />the school needed much more than a visual observance and <br />I cleaning. The board has now set up a system, with the ap- <br />proval of the School Committee, to transport the students <br />i <br />j <br />,r <br />24 <br />7 <br />Report of the Board of Health <br />i <br />To the Honorable Board of Selectmen: <br />:j <br />Town of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br />The Board of Health hereby submits their report for the <br />year nineteen hundred sixty (1960), for the month of April <br />through December consecutively. <br />` <br />The board was reorganized in March 1960, at which time <br />S° t= <br />r <br />we made a house survey and estimated the cost of a town <br />held, the <br />, <br />wide clean-up.
