75 Article 42. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $2,400.00 to rebuild and restore the Mashpee Lake Flume under the direction of the Board of Selectmen, upon receipt of a permit from the Department of Public Works or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to raise and appro- priate the sum of $2,400.00 to rebuild and restore the Mash - pee Lake Flume under the direction of the Board of Select- men, upon receipt of a permit from the Department of Public Works. Voted 49 for, 0 opposed. Article 43. To see if the Town will vote to rescind Article 7 of the June 18, 1959 Special Town Meeting, and to combine the offices of the Board of Selectmen, Board of Assessors, Board of Health, Board of Public Welfare, and to choose by ballot, beginning with the annual election in March, 1964, three members to constitute the same, provided that at the 1964 annual election, members shall be elected, one for a term of three years, one for a term of two years, one for a term of one year; subsequent annual elections to choose one member for a term of three years and to raise and appropri- ate a salary of $5,500.00 for each member and that they be compelled to spend five days a week on the job and one-half a day on Saturdays during the months of July and August or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to postpone article indefinitely. Voted unanimously. Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $138.60 for the following unpaid bill of 1962: Cape Cod Standard Times, Zoning Map $138.60 or take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article as read. Vote 47 for, none opposed.
