11 <br />The automatic sander and portable screening plant for <br />the Highway Department was purchased and has proven most <br />beneficial during the past winter. Improvements as voted <br />were made on the municipal garage. <br />In other matters, voted on at last year's town meeting, <br />street lights have been installed as requested; the pump at <br />the Old Indian Burying Ground has been repaired and en- <br />closed by a chain link fence. <br />The Town Landing Committee has laid out and developed <br />town landings on Ockway Bay, South Mashpee, and one on <br />Great River, Monomoscoy. <br />Revaluation has been completed, and 1966 taxes will show <br />the result of this survey. Additional folding chairs were pur- <br />chased for the town hall auditorium. Flood lights were in- <br />stalled at Mill Pond. <br />All in all, we feel that much progress has been made in <br />all areas of town government during the past year. The Board <br />acknowledges and wishes to express its gratitude to !all town <br />departments, all citizens, all business interests who have so <br />generously contributed, Town Counsel Mr. Charles McGrath, <br />and the Mashpee Advisory Commission, for helping to make <br />such progress possible. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />LEO C.
