11
The automatic sander and portable screening plant for
the Highway Department was purchased and has proven most
beneficial during the past winter. Improvements as voted
were made on the municipal garage.
In other matters, voted on at last year's town meeting,
street lights have been installed as requested; the pump at
the Old Indian Burying Ground has been repaired and en-
closed by a chain link fence.
The Town Landing Committee has laid out and developed
town landings on Ockway Bay, South Mashpee, and one on
Great River, Monomoscoy.
Revaluation has been completed, and 1966 taxes will show
the result of this survey. Additional folding chairs were pur-
chased for the town hall auditorium. Flood lights were in-
stalled at Mill Pond.
All in all, we feel that much progress has been made in
all areas of town government during the past year. The Board
acknowledges and wishes to express its gratitude to !all town
departments, all citizens, all business interests who have so
generously contributed, Town Counsel Mr. Charles McGrath,
and the Mashpee Advisory Commission, for helping to make
such progress possible.
Respectfully submitted,
LEO C. SWEENEY, Chairman
FRANK E. HICKS
LEROY M. AIKEN
Selectmen of Mashpee
