Marilyn reported Richard had driven through South Cape Estates to check on the <br /> adequacy of street signs that have been a lingering bone of contention between Mr. <br /> Charles lapagni and the South Cape Civic Association. Richard noted some signs still <br /> missing. Marilyn noted her conversation with the Planning Department revealed current <br /> guidelines for street signs apply only to new developments and not to mature <br /> developments such as South Cape Estates. It was decided that the most appropriate <br /> action at this time is to send another letter to the Association asking for an update on the <br /> steps they planned on taking. Marlyn will draft letter. <br /> NEW BUSINESS- <br /> There <br /> [JSINESS:Where will be an opening on the committee when Jim Marr departs in December. It was <br /> proposed that the seat be filled by someone from the community rather than a town <br /> official. Bev suggested Lisa Talmadge, a disabled lady living in Stratford Pond as a , <br /> possible candidate. Bev will see if she is interested. If so, she will be asked to submit a <br /> letter of interest. <br /> Noir that winter is near Bob suggested reminding appropriate officials of the need t <br /> beep handicap parking spaces free of snow. Usually, the handicap parking areas are <br /> where the plows pile up snow. <br /> Jim Marr suggested inviting representatives of the Planning Department and the Senior <br /> Center Building Comnmittee to attend one of our meetings to discuss access issues in their <br /> respective areas of interest.. Jim Long of the Senior.Center will be invited to the <br /> December meeting and Planning to a subsequent meeting. <br /> Marilyn reminded Bob that copies of the minutes should go to the Town Clerk for record <br /> purposes.
