COVID-19 Update. Mr. Harrington commented that the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> • Participated in weekly conference calls with the MA DPH and the Barnstable County Health <br /> Agents'Coalition <br /> • Monitored weekly epidemiological data from the MA DPH and Barnstable County <br /> • Communicated new case numbers of COVID-19 to the public safety answering point and the <br /> Town Manager's office <br /> • Coordinated communication between the VNA and the Mashpee School Nurse Coordinator <br /> via email and conference calls <br /> • Investigated COVID-19 complaints at CVS Pharmacy, Pizza Guyz, and Wildfire Pizza (social <br /> distancing and masks) <br /> • Discussed increasing ridership on the Council on Aging vehicles from one passenger to two <br /> • Put together the results of a Town Hall re-opening surrey for the Town Manager's office <br /> • Updated restaurants on new safety standards effective October 511, including bar seating and <br /> increased party sizes <br /> • Answered questions from the school nurse coordinator regarding current case counts, <br /> protocols for a positive COVID-19 case in the schools,contact tracing,and parent notification <br /> letters <br /> • Talked with the Marketing Manager for Mashpee Commons about continuing their Sidewalk <br /> Saturdays through the end of October, as well as their planned "Reverse Halloween Parade" <br /> • Discussed the proposed Halloween drive-through trick-or-treating at the Quashnet School <br /> with the Recreation Department <br /> • Stayed up-to-date with the latest changes to the safety standards for Phase III, Step 2 of re- <br /> opening,as well as the Halloween guidance put out by the DPH and CDC <br /> • Reached out to the Mashpee long-term care facilities about the updated safety standards <br /> allowing indoor visitation <br /> 1 <br />
