• Communicated new case numbers of COVID-19 to the public safety answering point and the <br /> Town Manager's office <br /> • Attended the OSHA webinar for pandemic preparedness and the MHOA public health <br /> conference on epidemiology topics <br /> • Coordinated with the Town Manager's office and the Finance Director to add a budget line <br /> Item for COVID-19 response in anticipation of a widespread effort to vaccinate the public for <br /> Sars-CoV-2 <br /> • Answered questions from local businesses regarding limousine services, protocols for a close <br /> contact in the workplace,and temporary dining under a tent <br /> • Communicated with the VNA and the Mashpee School Nurse Coordinator about school <br /> quarantine protocols, testing resources, alternative diagnoses, and return-to-school <br /> guidelines <br /> • Worked with Mashpee Commons on their plans for a "Santa's Workshop" ongoing event <br /> during the holiday season <br /> • Forwarded information about the safe use of heating devices under temporary tents for <br /> expanded outdoor dining to all Mashpee food establishments <br /> • Advised the Council on Aging on appropriate screening questions for bus drivers to use for <br /> passengers <br /> • Stayed up-to-date on changes to the re-opening safety standards, the DESE Commissioner's <br /> weekly updates, Halloween and Thanksgiving guidance, the MA eviction diversion Initiative, <br /> the temporary hockey rink closure, and changes to CDC standards for close contacts and <br /> quarantining while awaiting test results <br /> • Responded to an information request regarding case numbers in schools and youth sports <br /> leagues <br /> • Communicated with members of the public about isolation and quarantine requirements and <br /> cleaning protocols <br /> • Looked over the initial draft of the state's COVID-19 vaccination plan <br /> • Participated in a Zoom conference with Rise Engineering and Mashpee Public Schools <br /> regarding their ventilation assessment report <br /> • Communicated with the School Nurse Coordinator regarding the first confirmed positive <br /> COVID-19 cases in the school district <br /> • Talked to Cape Cod Coffee about their upcoming Halloweekend event at their Evergreen Circle <br /> location <br /> • Advised the Mashpee Commons Marketing Director about COVID-19 standards for a <br /> proposed documentary screening event in honor of Native American Heritage month <br /> • Responded to COVID-19 complaints at Stop & Shop, Dunkin Donuts on Route 130, and <br /> Mashpee Shell and Botelho's <br /> 6. Discussion of upcoming Mashpee Flu Clinics. Mr. Harrington commented that he had copied the <br /> Board on his thank you email to everyone who had assisted with the first of the two 2020 flu <br /> clinics. Overall, everyone was extremely happy. The Health Agents are going to make some <br /> adjustments to the traffic pattern, and a few other minor changes. Ms. Warden will stop by the <br /> office to go over some of her suggestions. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review and approval of meeting minutes. Vice-chair Warden requested that the minutes of the <br /> October 8,2020 public session be tabled until such time as a full Board is present. <br /> 4 <br />
