Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH — PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Mashpee Town Hall — Popponesset Meeting Room <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of November 5, 2020 <br /> Board Members Present: Member Absent: Also Present: <br /> Veronica Warden,Vice-Chair Brian Baumgaerte, Chair Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Clerk Caitlin Cantella,Assistant Health Agent <br /> Vice-Chair Veronica Warden called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM, and stated for the record that all <br /> Board members were participating remotely. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. COVID-19 update. Mr. Harrington commented that the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> • Participated in weekly interagency webinars with the MA DPH <br /> • Monitored daily epidemiological data from the MA DPH and Barnstable County Department <br /> of Health &Environment <br /> • Communicated new case numbers of COVID-19 to the public safety answering point and the <br /> Town Manager's office <br /> • Assisted members of the public with contact tracing questions <br /> • Answered questions from Botello's regarding medical exemptions to the face covering <br /> requirement <br /> • Participated in Zoom calls with the Visiting Nurse Association,.the state's Community Tracing <br /> Collaborative,and the Mashpee Public Schools' Nurse Coordinator <br /> • Advised Camp Farley of the current safety standards for recreational day camps as they plan <br /> for the 2021season <br /> • Stayed up-to-date on the latest statewide orders regarding gatherings, face coverings, and <br /> early business closure hours <br /> • Advised the Mashpee Commons Marketing Director about changes to the COVID-19 <br /> standards for a proposed documentary screening event in honor of Native American Heritage <br /> month and their"Santa's Workshop"event <br /> • Communicated with the Recreation Director regarding contact tracing protocols <br /> • Responded to COVID-19 complaints at Botello's,Christ the King church,Wildfire Pizza, Liberty <br /> Liquors, and CosmopoliTan <br /> Mr. Harrington asked Board members if they had received a copy of the press release relative to <br /> holiday gatherings. Board members answered In the affirmative,and approved the press release <br /> for posting on the Town website and Facebook,and in the Enterprise. <br /> 1 <br />
