Mrs. Campos reported that all rents are paid at Asher's Path; however, there are a few rent <br /> delinquencies at our other developments. Mrs. Campos mentioned that the moratorium on <br /> evictions will be lifted in the next several weeks and she's hoping the delinquent rents will be <br /> paid to avoid having to start eviction proceedings. All developments are 100% occupie <br /> A motion was made by Kevin Shackett and seconded by Lisa Meizinger to accept the <br /> Treasurer's Report as presented. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES: <br /> • Mrs. Campos reported that Gina Orlando, the assistant property manager at Asher's Path, <br /> submitted her resignation. Her final day will be October 15, 2020. Mrs. Campos stated <br /> she will consider hiring a full-time property manager to oversee not only Asher's Path <br /> Apartments but Great Cove Community as well. <br /> • Mrs. Campos discussed two units at different properties that will require mold <br /> remediation. <br /> • Mrs. Campos stated the next monthly call with DHCD to learn of new COVID guidelines <br /> is scheduled for the following week. Until then,the Community Room will remain closed <br /> and the sanitizing of the common areas will continue every weekday. Maintenance staff <br /> has installed hand sanitizer stations throughout the common areas at both Asher's Path <br /> Apartments and Homeyer Village. A brief discussion transpired concerning a timeline on <br /> reopening the Community Rooms at both Asher's Path Apartments and Homeyer Village. <br /> • Mrs. Campos discussed the possibility of offering a hazard pay bonus to staff who have <br /> worked continuously through the pandemic. The matter had been discussed previously <br /> but was tabled until some of the other authorities under a management agreement had a <br /> chance to weigh in on the matter. She stated to date, only the Brewster board has met and <br /> based on the recommendation of Mrs. Botsford, voted unanimously to compensate all <br /> staff members with a hazard pay bonus equivalent to one bi-weekly paycheck. Ms. Allen <br /> asked whether Mrs. Campos thought the Mattapoisett and Carver boards would also agree <br /> with Mrs. Botsford's recommendation. Mrs. Campos stated she thinks they will. After a <br /> brief discussion, A motion was made by Lisa Meizinger and seconded by Kevin <br /> Shackett to compensate all staff members who have worked continuously <br /> throughout the pandemic with a hazard pay bonus equivalent to one bi-weeldy <br /> paycheck. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Mrs. Campos provided the board with an update on'her transition into the role of the <br /> executive director. She stated she will be scheduling interviews with candidates to fill the <br /> vacant assistant executive director position. <br /> • Mrs. Campos opened a discussion regarding the decision to terminate the Housing <br /> Assistance Program. Explaining that prior to her retirement, Mrs. Botsford sent written <br /> notification to all participants, landlords, the Community Preservation Committee and the <br /> town manager that the program will be terminated effective November 30, 2020. She <br /> informed the members that she had watched the Select Board's October 6' meeting and <br /> the chair of the Community Preservation Committee, Selectman Andrew Gottlieb, read <br /> the termination letter as part of the meeting's Communications agenda item.
