Minutes of Meeting <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday,November 17,2020 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Charlie read an email from Evan Lehrer, Town Planner that requires approval as a <br /> minor modification from the ZBA as stated under §174-24 C (9) a. <br /> Bob would like to schedule the meeting for December 9, 2020 with the ZBA. The <br /> Committee agreed. <br /> Proiect Address: 14 Wags Road <br /> Business Name: Aspen Blue Mashpee,LLC <br /> Owner/Agent: Patrick Casey <br /> Architect/Engineer: Dennis Colwell Architects <br /> Request: Proposing a new 8,726 sq. ft. commercial building to <br /> be used for marijuana cultivation. <br /> (Note: A modification of Special Permit SP-04-26 with ZBA <br /> under§174-25 (E) (16) and §174-24 (K). <br /> Frank Ziano, Project Engineer, and Chris Gonzales, Architect will be presenting the <br /> application.Chris said plan number(s)A2.0 and A2.1 have the color renderings.Chris <br /> said that this proposal is to construct an 8,726 sq. ft. cultivation facility. A newly <br /> secured entry will be constructed on the front fayade. There will be access to a small <br /> break room, locker room and a central utility building in the center. <br /> The building will be two separate flower rooms that will be about 1,600 sq. ft. each. <br /> There will be 375 sq. ft. of mother space, 740 sq. ft. of vegetation space, and 200 sq. <br /> ft. of storage space. The applicant reviewed the elevations of the building, and the <br /> existing building depicted by dashed lines on the plan. Everything to the right of the <br /> dashed lines is the proposed addition. The proposal is to extend the existing look of <br /> the building approximately 24 ft. and another 14 ft. extension to make sure not to <br /> encroach on any existing setbacks especially the electrical easement across the <br /> property. <br /> The current building is 96 ft. x 96 ft. The addition will be the central utility building <br /> located in the middle of the proposed plan. The parking will be located in the rear of <br /> the building. The new buildings will match the existing building with metal paneling <br /> as well as brick work. There will be no new windows added to the existing building <br /> because of the code requirements. The buildings will be painted a lighter blue. <br /> Joe has no issues. Charlie had no issues. Jonathan has no issues but asked about <br /> signage. The applicants stated that the facility will not be open to the public. The <br /> applicant said there has been no discussion of signage, but they have to provide <br /> signage per the CCC, and the Zoning Bylaws. <br /> 2 <br />
