84 <br />Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article <br />1, Section 1-B of Chapter 1 of the Town By -Laws to read as <br />follows: "All Town Reports from each department, elected, or <br />appointed officials, shall be printed or typewritten and sub- <br />mitted to the Selectmen or Town Clerk on or before the sec. <br />ond Monday of January in each year. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be <br />accepted as read. A vote. <br />Article 46. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br />Selectmen to appoint a Committee of three to investigate <br />the possibility of purchasing or soliciting donations to pur- <br />chase and erect a bronze statue of an Indian to be placed <br />in the Mashpee Rotary Circle or some other suitable place in <br />the Town to promote the heritage of the Town or take any <br />other action thereon. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be <br />accepted. as read. A unanimous vote. <br />Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to amend Sec- <br />tion C-1 of the zoning by-laws (Article 2, Chapter 3 of the <br />town by-laws) by adding the following or take any other <br />action thereon: (g) tenting grounds, camping grounds or <br />similar uses, but only when permitted by the Board of Ap- <br />peals in accordance with Section G (3) of these by-laws and <br />upon such conditions as the Board may wish to impose. The <br />Board may make rules for the hearings provided in Section <br />G (3), and shall notify all holders of real estate abutting <br />any property for which a permit is sought, and shall at such <br />a hearing, hear such owners and others who may desire to <br />he heard. No approval shall be granted by the Board without <br />considering the effects upon the neighborhood and the Town. <br />No so-called mobile home shall be allowed, such homes being <br />defined as a movable or portable dwelling built on a chassis, <br />connected to utilities and designed without a permanent <br />foundation for year-round living. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded that article be <br />tabled. So voted. <br />
