Delete Subsection B.(8), renumber the existing Subsection B.(9) to become B.(8), and insert the <br /> words "Pairs of"" before the words "test wells" in the second sentence of Subsection B.(9�), <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Planning Board <br /> Explanation: This article updates the requirements and specifications of the Water Quality <br /> Report by-law, which was adopted in the late 1980s, to reflect watershed mapping, target <br /> nitrogen loads, standards and specifications developed as part of the Massachusetts Estuaries <br /> Project and other recent studies. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 4-�0. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on September 20, 2006 5-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made to dispense with reading of article. <br /> Motion to dispense with reading of article passes at 8:16 PM. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Theresa Cook. <br /> Motion: I move Article 27 be voted as printed in the warrant, except that Subsection B.(4)(d) <br /> should read as follows: <br /> "(d) Loading from stormwater: 1.5 mg/l nitrogen for road runoff, 0.75 mg/l for roof runoff and <br /> 0.072 mg/l for natural areas, or altemately, ,nine-hundredths (0.09) pound nitrogen per road mile <br /> per day. Phosphorous 0.00048 pound per road mile per day. <br /> And except for the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:17 PM <br /> Article 28 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law by amending footnote 14 of the <br /> Section 174-31 Land Space Requirements Table by adding the following new sentence: "Said <br /> buffer may be waived, as part of a special pen-nit decision, where the special permit granting <br /> authority determines that such buffer would be inappropriate for the area and where there is <br /> written agreement to said waiver by the abutting property owner," <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Planning Board <br /> 23 <br />
