Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Waterways Improvement Account $11,900 to the Water Quality Improvement Account. Motion made to amend by Edward Baker. Motion: I move the following sentence be added to the end of the article. All payments for analysis from this fund should be contingent upon recent of a report containing: the time and place of the sample acquisition, the analysis date, the analysis results and the test methods utilized. Motion to amend passes at 8:06 PMO Amended motion passes unanimously at 8:06 PM. Article 7 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $3,054 to the Board of Health Clerical Salary Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Health Explanation: May Town Meeting appropriated funds for the Board of Health salary account. A vacancy occurred and subsequently the position was filled through a transfer of another town employee who is currently paid at a higher rate. Per the clerical union contract, the newly hired employee receives education incentives and longevity. The new employee works thirty-seven and one half hours versus the previous employee's thirty-five hours, which was appropriated at town meeting. The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. Motion made by Don Myers. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Finance Director Salary Account $2,500 and appropriate and transfer from the Assessors Salary/Wage Account $554, for a total of$3,054 to the Board of Health Salary/ Wage Account. Motion passes unanimously at 8:07 PM. Article 8 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $45,500 from available funds to the Accounting Salary/Wage Account, or take any other action relating thereto.
