Explanation-, This article would provide funding for that portion of the Accounting salary <br /> budget that was omitted in the Omnibus Budget at the May 2005 Town Meeting. The error was <br /> found after the warrant was published in the newspaper leaving the only option of correcting the <br /> budget item at the October Town Meeting. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> Motion.- I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Planning Department <br /> Salary/Wage Account $,36,350 and to appropriate and transfer from the Hotel/Motel Reserved <br /> Account $9,150 for a total of$45,5 to the Accounting Salary/Wage Account. <br /> Motion passes at 8:13 PM. <br /> Article 9 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $25,000 to the <br /> Community Preservation Committee Administration Account, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: These funds are needed in order to provide administrative and legal support to the <br /> Community Preservation Act Committee, and will be transferred from certified Community <br /> Preservation Committee funds. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by Theresa Cook, <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Community Preservation <br /> Fund $25,00o to the Community Preservation Administration Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:14 PM. <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $14,500 from the Police Salary/Wage <br /> Account to the Police Capital Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Police Chief <br /> Explanation-. This one time appropriation will allow the Police Department to fund the last year <br /> of a four-year lease/purcbase for two police cruisers. This item was inadvertently left off of the <br /> F'Y2006 Capital Budget Request due to an oversight but has been a part of the Capital budget <br /> Program for FY2003, FY2004, and FY2005. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> 6 <br />
