Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion.- I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $14,500 from the Police Salary/ <br /> Wage Account to the Police Capital Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:14 PMO <br /> Article II <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 100 of the General Bylaws of the Town of <br /> Mashpee by amending the following article: <br /> Chapter 100 —Handicapped Parking <br /> 100-3 Violations and Penalties. The Selectmen shall set the penalty for a violation of this <br /> chapter in accordance with the limits established by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, <br /> Section 2 1, Subsection (24), as amended, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Americans with Disabilities Act Committee <br /> Explanation-, Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 21, Subsection (24) states that <br /> the fine for a violation shall be not less than $1.0 nor more than $300. Under this article, the <br /> Selectmen will establish the fine for violations of handicapped parking within this range and <br /> bring Mas,hpee in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by Wayne Taylor. <br /> Motion: I move Article 11 be voted as printed in the warrant, except for the phrase "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:16PM. <br /> Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to add the following new Chapter 84 to the Mashp,ee Code.- <br /> CHAPTER 84 <br /> EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL BYLAW <br /> §84-1 PURPOSE <br /> The purpose of this section 'is to ensure the prevention or reduction of soil erosion and <br /> sedimentation before, during, and after development or redevelopment of a site. <br /> 7 <br />
