ARTICLE III -- General Penalties <br /> History Adopted 5-2-1983 ATM,Article 48,approved by Attorney General on 1.0-1.2-1.983. <br /> §1-3. Noncriminal Disposition: The provisions of 1'' GL C. 40, 21 D, providing for the <br /> noncriminal disposition of bylaw violation, shall be applicable to all violations of <br /> "own Bylaws wherein a specific penalty is provided for said violation. <br /> §1-4. Violations and Penalties. whoever violates any of the provisions of this Code, <br /> unless otherwise provided for therein, shall be punished by a fine of not less than <br /> twenty dollars ($20.) nor more than, fifty dollars ($50.). The Town will hold two (2) regularly scheduled Annual Town Meetings. The <br /> Sprig Annual. Tows. Fleeting will be held the first Monday in May and will <br /> address the Annual Town operating budget. The Fall Annual Town Meeting will. <br /> be held the third Monday in October and will address and and all other business to <br /> core before the Tows Meeting. These meetings will be held at 7. o p.m. at a <br /> place that shall be determined by the Selectmen. <br /> History: Amended 10-7-2002 ATM,Article 9,approved by Attorney General on 11-27-2002 <br /> History: Amended 12-9-2002 STILT,Article 9,approve by Attorney General on 2-19-2003. <br /> B. The Board of Selectmen shall receive all petitions addressed to it which request <br /> the submission of particular subject matter to the Town Meeting and which <br /> conform to the requirements of Section ten of Chapter thirty-nine of the General. <br /> Laws. All requests for the .inclusion of subject natter shall be in writing, but shall <br /> not otherwise be required to conform to any particular style or form, except that <br /> each request for a particular subject shall be submitted as a separate petition. <br /> C. Articles for the Spring annual, Town Meeting rust be submitted by the second <br /> Monday in February each year.
