Board of Health, Board of Selectmen and Mashpee Water District, and three members to serve as <br /> ''at large" appointees. <br /> Motion made to amend by Peter White: <br /> Motion: The Board of Sewer Commissioners shall consist of seven (7) voters of the Town, one <br /> (1) from each of the five (5) precincts and two (2) appointed at large by the Selectmen. <br /> Motion to amend passes 123 to 92. <br /> Amended motion passes 130 to 89.7:37 P,M <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to reauthorize the Waquoit Bay MEP Account, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Sewer Commission <br /> Explanation: At the October 16, 2006 Annual Town Meeting, the Town voted $23,625 toward <br /> a portion (25%) of the costs of the Massachusetts Estuaries Project (MEP) report regarding <br /> critical nitrogen loading thresholds for Waquoit Bay (central basin), Childs River and Eel Pond. <br /> The remaining costs are being funded by the Town of Falmouth. The project has been <br /> contracted and is under way, but will not be completed prior to October 2009. This article seeks <br /> to extend the three-year life of the Zoo6 appropriation for an additional. three years in. order to <br /> allow funding for completion of the project. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 4-0, one absent. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of -0, one absent. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Michael Richardson., <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to reauthorize the Waquoit Bay MEP Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:37P11 <br /> Article 11 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer the use of, and authorize the Board of Selectmen to <br /> convey to Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership, LLP, an easement for storm water discharge/ <br /> retention and drainage purposes in and over a portion of the layout of Nathan S. Ellis Highway, <br /> said easement area containing 3,800 square feet, more or less, and shown as "Easement E" on a <br /> plan entitled "Easement Plan of Land —Nathan Ellis Highway and 6,4 Steeple Street, Mashpee, <br /> MA, dated August 27, 2009, on file with the Office of the Town Clerk; and to authorize the <br /> Selectmen to execute any documents or instruments necessary to effect said easement upon such <br /> terms as they deem to be in the best interest of the Town, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> 7 <br />
