Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer the care, custody, management and control of the <br /> following described parcel of Town-owned land to the Board of Selectmen for the purpose of <br /> sale, lease, or other disposition to the Mashpee Economic Development and Industrial <br /> Corporation (EDIC) for development and use as the EDIC may determine: a parcel of land <br /> consisting of 2.66 acres +/- as shown on Assessors' Map 88 as Block 29, and described in the <br /> deed recorded with the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds, in Book 13460, Page 269 through <br /> Page 272 and as depicted on a plan entitled, "Subdivision Plan prepared for Haystacks Realty <br /> Trust of Assessors Lots 29 and 30 Industrial Drive, Mashpee, MA" prepared by J.E. Landers- <br /> Cauley, P.E., dated last revised November 11, 2000, and recorded in the Barnstable County <br /> Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 562, Page 3, a copy of which is on file in.the office of the Town <br /> Clerk; to authorize the Selectmen to execute a deed or such other instruments as may be <br /> 'necessary to transfer the Town's title in and to the subject parcel to the EDIC upon such terms as <br /> the Selectmen deem proper; and further, to authorize the Selectmen to petition the General Court, <br /> as may be necessary, for special legislation authorizing said transfer, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article will authorize the transfer of Town owned land located at 117 <br /> Industrial Drive Ext. tothe Mashpee Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (EDIC) <br /> as intended when, the EDIC was created several years ago.
