This proposal is submitted in conjunction with the work <br /> being done by a community needs committee convened by the Selectmen and Leisure Services <br /> Department. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee does not recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $60,000 to the Recreation / Human <br /> Services / Senior Center / Community Facilities Consultant Account, to be expended under the <br /> direction of the Board of Selectmen for consultant services and associated costs related to the <br /> development of a planning and preliminary design study for municipal recreation, human <br /> services, senior center and community center facilities. <br /> Motion passes at 8:25 p.m. <br /> Article 20 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of <br /> money to the Stabilization Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article is necessary to transfer funds into the Town's Stabilization Fund for <br /> future use. The Town has adopted the goal of maintaining no less than ten percent of the annual <br /> budget in the Stabilization Account. At the time of publishing, funds available for this transfer <br /> had not been certified by the State. It is estimated that approximately $1,000,000 will be <br /> transferred to the Stabilization Fund. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br />
