<br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a
<br /> plan laying out and defining Lakewood Drive, Melissa Avenue, Jones Road, Maple Street,
<br /> Juniper Drive and Linden Road; and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and
<br /> related thereto, the Town vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for
<br /> appropriation a sum of money to the Lakewood Drive Account and to raise said appropriation
<br /> the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time,
<br /> or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 or 8 or any
<br /> enabling authority and to issue bonds and notes of the Town therefore, and further, to see if the
<br /> Town will vote to raise and appropriate and transfer from available funds a sum of money to the
<br /> Lakewood Drive Account to provide interest and debt issuance expenses, or take any other
<br /> action relating thereto.

<br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to acquire, by eminent domain, for
<br /> conservation purposes, those parcels of land shown on the 1999 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as
<br /> Map 30, Block 88, containing 7.9 acres, more or less, located on "Lake Avenue" and the
<br /> Barnstable town line, Map 37, Block 55, containing 2.5 acres, more or less, located north of
<br /> main street and described at Barnstable County Registry of Deeds Book 5398, Page 110, Map
<br /> 38, Block 1, containing 1.5 acres, more or less, on the north side of Main Street (Route 130) and
<br /> described at Barnstable County Registry of Deeds Book 4166, Page 194, and Map 38, Block 25,
<br /> containing 27,,325 square feet, more or less, located east of the Santuit River and described at
<br /> Barnstable County Registry of Deeds Book 11156, Page 236, with the land to be held in the
<br /> care and custody of the Conservation Commission pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws
<br /> Chapter 40, Section 8C; and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, or
<br /> transfer from available funds, four dollars for such purpose, with one dollar to purchase each
<br /> parcel; and finally, to see if the Town will authorize the Conservation Commission and the
<br /> Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any and all instruments as may be
<br /> necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said acquisition; or take any other action related
<br /> thereto.
