Explanation-, This article will create an expense budget for maintenance of the Town <br /> Cemeteries. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move this article be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:52 p.m. <br /> Article 6 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer $3,000 from the Harbormaster Salary & Wage Account <br /> to the Herring Warden Salary & Wage Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Harbormaster <br /> Explanation: This article would transfer funds currently in the Harbormaster's Salary & Wage <br /> Account used for Herring Warden Assistants to the Herring Warden's Salary & Wage Account. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Wayne Taylor. <br /> Motion: I more the Town vote to transfer $3,000 from the Harbormaster Salary & Wage <br /> Account to the Herring Warden Salary and Wage Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:52 p.m. <br /> Article 7 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create the position of part time End User Support (19 hours per <br /> week) under the Town's Personnel Administration Plan, Grade 11, Step 1, and to further <br /> appropriate and transfer $11,238, with said funds to be distributed as follows: $11,000 to the <br /> MIS Salary/Wage Account and $238 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by the MIS Director <br /> Explanation: This 19 hour per week position will help the Data Processing Department meet <br /> the demand for technology and communications services for Town, Hall departments. The Town <br /> has reached the point where daily requirements cannot be handled by one person. The position <br /> will enable the Data Processing Department to maintain existing data and phone networks and <br /> critical database applications. This position will allow us to implement and support the wide <br /> area network to departments not located at the Town Hall site. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br />
