Explanation-, This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the <br /> Town and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Local 389, Units A. At the time of <br /> publication,this agreement was not finalized. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Kenneth Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move Article 3 be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion passes at 7:48 p.m. <br /> Article 4 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $48,593 to fund a <br /> contract between the Town and the Massachusetts Police Association, Unit B, Sergeants, <br /> M.C.O.P. Local 320, AFL-CIO for the period beginning July 1, 2001, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article is placed on the warrant to provide funding for a contract between the <br /> Town and the Massachusetts Police Association, Unit B, Sergeants, M.C.O.P. Local 320, AFL- <br /> CIO. At the time of publication, this agreement was not finalized. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move Article 4be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 748 p.m. <br /> Article 5 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from the Ambulance Reserved Receipts <br /> Account $110,,000 to the Fire Capital Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: The Capital Improvement Committee recommended in May 2002 to fund the <br /> lease of two ambulances from the Ambulance Reserved Receipts Account. Since that vote, we <br /> have found that funds exist to purchase the ambulances outright and by doing so the Town will <br /> save approximately $12,000. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane, <br />
