Motion: I move the Town vote to create a part-time Clerk position for the Police Department under the Personnel Administration Plan, Grade 2, Step 1, and further, the Town vote to raise and appropriate $10,610 with said funds to be distributed as follows: $9,725 to the Police Salary/Wage Account, and $885 to the Medicare Account. Motion passes at 10:09 p.m. Article 15 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, borrow or transfer from available funds $446,419 to provide for road improvement projects under Chapter 90 related funds, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Department of Public Works Explanation: This article authorizes the use of funds to be 100% reimbursed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These revenues are the apportioned State gas tax back to the cities and towns. The level funding of 1998 is anticipated to be the total funds available to Mashpee.
