Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court Assembly, and by the <br /> authority of the same, as follows: <br /> SECTION 1: Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 39, Section 9 of the General Laws, or <br /> any general or special law to the contrary, the Town of Mashpee is hereby authorized to hold a <br /> Fall Annual Town Meeting. <br /> SECTION 2: This act shall take effect upon its,passage, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Clerk <br /> Explanation: Chapter 39, Section 9, allows a town to hold an annual town meeting to be held <br /> between February and May unless provided by special law. This article proposes a special law <br /> to formalize the Fall Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Mars,ters, <br /> Motion: I move Article 30 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion p asses at 9:42 p.m. <br /> Article 31 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law as follows: <br /> by replacing the definition of a "Home Occupation" in Section 174-3 with the following: <br /> 44HOME OCCUPATION — Gainful employment carried on by the permanent residents of a <br /> dwelling unit. A home occupation must be clearly incidental and secondary to the use of the <br /> premises as a dwelling and com patible with surrounding uses. Home occupations do not involve <br /> the production of products where electrical interference, noise, dust, vibration, glare, fumes, <br /> odors, or other objectionable effects are perceptible outside the premises.", <br /> by replacing the current wording of Section 174-25.1(5) with the following: <br /> "(5) Permitted Home Occupations, subject to the provisions of Subsection 174-25.L'% <br /> by replacing the current wording of Section 174-25.1(6) with the following: <br /> "(6) Conditional Home Occupations, subject to the provisions of Subsection 174-25.1 <br /> by changing the designation under all columns for Subsection 174-25.1(6) from "PR"to 44WI <br /> and by adding the following new Section 174-25.1: <br />
