Account. The Waterways Commission is requesting approval to appropriate and transfer <br /> $57,500 from the WIRR Account for the continued dredging of the Popponessett Bay and <br /> Waquoit Bay navigational channels, repairs and maintenance of town-owned docks, and to <br /> purchase enforcement, equipment and navigational aids. <br /> THE FINANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS TOWN MEETING APPROVAL OF <br /> 1, ARTICLE 7. <br /> ARTICLE 8: Kids Klub Enterprise Fund. <br /> Submitted by: Department of Leisure Services <br /> 11 <br /> The Department of Leisure Services operates the Kids Klub Childcare Center, a toddler/pre- <br /> school facility housed in the former senior center facility on Great Neck Road,North. The <br /> facility operates as an Enterprise Fund, i.e., the user fees collected completely offset the cost <br /> of operating the facility. <br /> This Article will authorize the Department of Leisure Services to continue to operate this facility <br /> h, as an enterprise fund and authorizes the appropriation of$262,755 from user fees to cover the <br /> FY 09 cost of operating the facility. <br /> Approval of this appropriation will have no impact on the FY 09 budget or the 2008 tax <br /> rate. <br /> THE FINANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS TOWN MEETING APPROVAL OF <br /> ARTICLE 8. <br /> ARTICLE 9. Authorize Use of Community Preservation Funds. <br /> Submitted by: Board of Selectmen. <br /> ! The Community Preservation Act legislation provides that 5% of the funds collected can be <br /> used for administrative, auditing, legal, engineering, or other associated costs incidental to the <br /> administration and oversight of the Community Preservation Committee..
