Explanation-, If passed, this article will grant a 3% cost of living adjustment for Fiscal Year <br /> 2003 to employees whose positions are classified under the Town's Personnel Administration <br /> Plan, and fund Special Service Contracts. <br /> Recommendation lo, The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Kenneth Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move Article 7 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, "or <br /> take any other action relating thereto"'. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:24 p.m. <br /> Article 8 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section <br /> 53E 1/2, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order to place <br /> revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child Development Programs, which shall <br /> be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said Leisure Service programs, <br /> and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account fo�r Fiscal Year 2003 at $33,721.20, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Leisure Services Department <br /> Explanation: This revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds <br /> generated through programs supported by such revolving fund. Revenues must be used to offset <br /> expenses of these programs. Leisure Services through its agent will manage this account. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to reauthorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through <br /> the Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, <br /> Section 53E 1/21 to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order to <br /> place revenues collected from the various Leisure Service Department programs, which shall be <br /> used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said leisure service programs, and <br /> to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for fiscal year 2003 at $33,721.20. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:25 p.m. <br /> Article 9 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate $1,500,000 for the purpose of renovating and/or <br /> constructing and equipping the Mashpee Senior Center, including the payment of all costs <br /> incidental and related thereto and to determine whether this appropriation shall be raised by <br /> borrowing or otherwise, the total cost of which will be $2,100,000; provided, that such <br />
