Mechanical removal method chosen. Issues with dirt bike <br /> track. <br /> Agent said they decided to go with the mechanical removal of bamboo after speaking with <br /> the consultant we hired. The estimate was closer to $5,000 versus closer to $8,000 for <br /> herbicidal removal. <br /> • Update: Trout Pond culvert. <br /> Trout Pond is owned by Mashpee Commons, LLC. There's a culvert pipe that was jammed <br /> up with debris and caused overflow,over a pathway above the culvert., Now the area around <br /> the culvert collapse and the pond started to drain into a creek associated with the Mashpee <br /> River. DPW went in and made a patch using sandbags, but we need a long term solution. <br /> The property is owned by Mashpee Commons, LLC, but it abuts land owned by the Trustees <br /> of the Reservation. The culvert pipe has been repaired. <br /> • Update: Chopchaque Bogs closing on property by 9/15/2020. (Agent to inquire with local <br /> land trusts for Conservation Restriction). <br /> • Update: Red Brook Road culvert ownership status. <br /> • ADDITIONAL TOPICS: <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would be <br /> discussed). <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> 6:00 Frances Pennell, 76 Triton Way. Proposed removal of existing patios and installation of in- NOI <br /> ground pool, decking, hardscaping and mitigation plantings. At request of applicant, continued <br /> from 812212019 for revised plans reducing footprint of pool and increasing mitigation plantings. <br /> Wayne Tavares, Wet Tech Land Design presented plans. <br /> Agent reviewed photos with the group. It's a tight sight. The applicant/consultant worked to <br /> increase the setback of the proposed pool/patio as far from the top of coastal bank as much <br /> as possible given the lot size constraints, which they have achieved.
