Motion passes at 7:38 p.m. <br /> Article 10 <br /> To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer/Tax Collector to enter into compensating <br /> balance agreements during fiscal years 1998,, 1999, and 20�00, as permitted by General Laws, <br /> Chapter 44, Section 53F. <br /> Submitted by the Treasurer/Tax Collector <br /> Explanation,.- This article would authorize the Treasurer/Tax Collector to place money in a <br /> bank to earn credits for specific services the bank provides to the Town. This has been <br /> authorized at the 1987, 19881 19891 19901 1991, and 1994 (for three year periods) Annual Town <br /> Meetings. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye. <br /> Motion: I move Article 10 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase <br /> 44or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes at 7:38 p.m. <br /> Article 11 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds $9,750 to <br /> the Cemetery Study Account. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would fund a preliminary feasibility, conceptual. design and <br /> development cost study of the cemetery proposed to be developed on Great Neck Road South at <br /> the site approved at the October 1996 Town Meeting. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $9,750 to the Cemetery Study Account. <br /> Motion made to indefinitely postpone defeated at 7:47 p0mo <br /> Motion passes at 7:48 p.m. <br /> Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to re-authorize the property tax wo�rk-off voucher system <br /> 14 <br />
