Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from the Cranberry Bog Reserved Receipts Account $27,75 to the Conservation Lands Maintenance and Improvement Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Conservation Commission Explanation,,* The $27,750 represents the Town's share of the 1995 cranberry crop. State law permits the use of such funds for maintenance, improvement, and/or purchase of Conservation Land, or, for maintenance or improvement of the Town owned cranberry bogs. Since most of the planned bog improvements have been completed in the past two years, the intent is to now dedicate the money to other (non-bo, conservation. land uses. Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Conservation Commission. Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Cranberry Bog Reserved Receipts Account $27,750.00 to the Conservation Lands Maintenance and Improvement Account. Motion passes at 10:27 p.m. Article 13, To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from the Bog Operation/Maintenance Account $17,000 to the Conservation Lands Maintenance and Improvement Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Conservation Commission Explanation,.* The transfer of the $17,000 would leave enough money (approximately $15,000) in the Bog Operation/Maintenance and Purchase of Service Account for remaining work still needed to be done, including design of a new flume structure for John to Quas,hnet River.
