Chapter 44, Section 53E 1/z, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service <br /> Department, in order to place revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child <br /> Development Programs, which shall be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits <br /> to conduct said Leisure Service programs, and to establish the limit on expenditures from <br /> said account for Fiscal Year 2000 at $31,150. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 9:07 p.m. <br /> ARTICLE 10 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create a temporary full-time Senior Clerk position for the <br /> period of one year, under the Clerical Contract, Grade II, for the Building Department and <br /> further to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of$25,632, with <br /> said funds to be distributed as follows; $19,828 to the Building Department's <br /> Salary/Wage Account, $5,481 to the Medicare Insurance Account, $35 to the Group <br /> Insurance Account and $288 to the Medicare Account, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Building Department <br /> Explanation: This position is a full-time temporary position being partially funded <br /> through a donation to the Town by one developer. This position has freed the inspectors <br /> from clerical duties, allowing them to perform field inspections, plan reviews, zoning <br /> oversight and other required duties. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to create a temporary full-time Senior Clerk position for <br /> the period of one year; under the Clerical Contract, Grade II, for the Building Department <br /> and for said purpose the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from the Southport <br /> Donation Account $14,004.93 to the Building Inspector Salary/Wage Account and further <br /> the Town vote to raise and appropriate $11,627.07, with said funds to be distributed as <br /> follows; $5,823.07 to the Building Inspector Salary/Wage Account; $5,481 to the Medical <br /> Insurance Account, $35 to the Group Insurance Account and $288 to the Medicare <br /> Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 9:10 p.m. <br />
