Motion: I move the Town vote to raise and appropriate $35,069.33 to create the position of Public Safety Dispatcher Supervisor, with said funds to be apportioned as follows: $29,333 to the Public Safety Dispatcher Salary/Wage Account, $5,277 to the Employee Medical Insurance Account, $34 to the Group Insurance Account, and $425.33 to the Medicare Account. Motion passes unanimously at 8:57 p.m. Article 19 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to the Capital Replacement Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Finance Committee Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Finance Committee Chairman Marcia King. Motion: I move Article 19 be indefinitely postponed. Motion to indefinitely pospone passes unanimously at 8:58 p.m. Article 20 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $21,000 from the Cranberry Bogs Reserved Receipts Account to the Bog Operation and Maintenance Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Conservation Commission Explanation: These monies would pay for the bog attendant's salary, the costs of analyzing and permitting restoration of a cattail-choked section of the Quashnet River, the costs of studying the impacts of diking off the main section of the Quashnet Bog from an adjacent wetland system, revegetation of banks on the Quashnet River and engineering/design for a new water-control structure at the head of the Quashnet River (as it leaves Johns Pond). Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Mills.
