Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Nancy Caffyn. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer from Revenue Available for <br /> Appropriation $1,300,000 and from Overlay Surplus $100,000 to offset the fiscal year 1999 tax <br /> levy. <br /> Motion passes at 8:04pm. <br /> Article 15 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer a sum of money to the <br /> Stabilization Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article places funds in the Town's Stabilization Fund for future use of the <br /> Town by a 2/3 vote at a Town Meeting. Based on estimates available it is anticipated that a <br /> minimum of$300,000 will be used for this purpose. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by David Leveille. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $300,000 to the Stabilization <br /> Account. <br /> Motion passes at 8:05pm. <br /> Article 16 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account through the <br /> Town Accountant's Office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44, Section <br /> 53E 1/z, to be expended under the direction of the Leisure Service Department, in order to place <br /> revenues collected from the various Leisure Services Child Development Programs, which shall <br /> be used for the purpose of paying wages and benefits to conduct said Leisure Service programs, <br /> and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account for Fiscal Year 1999 at $31,150, or <br /> take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Leisure Service Department <br /> Explanation: This article seeks to reauthorize the Leisure Service Revolving Account necessary <br /> for operating the various Leisure Services Programs using income from registration fees for the <br /> programs. <br /> Page 11 of 63 <br />
