Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Ack koad Xorth <br /> S U � Masltpee,la'lassachusettg 02640 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY,FEBRUARY 2,2021 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Tuesday,February 2,2021 <br /> at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North. <br /> Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Scott Goldstein, <br /> Norman J.Gould,Associate Members Sharon Sangeleer,George Ganzenmuller,and James <br /> Reiffarth were present. Building Commissioner,David Morris was also present. <br /> Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were <br /> being televised live on Mashpee TV as a virtual remote meeting. He will take comments <br /> after each hearing, and to mute your phones until asked to speak. <br /> Sitting on this continued hearing is the four regular Board members and Associate Member, <br /> George Ganzenmuller. <br /> 950 Falmouth Road (Route 28): Petitioners, Preservation of Affordable Housing LLC <br /> requests a Comprehensive Permit under M.G.L.Chapter 40B, §§20-23 and 760 CMR 56.00 <br /> to construct thirty nine(39)low income housing rental units on property located in an R-3 <br /> Zoning District, Parcel A: Map 93 Parcel 6-0, Parcel B: Map 93 Parcel 7-0, and Parcel C: <br /> Map 94 Parcel 7-0. (Continued from January 27, 2021 hearings). <br /> Chairman Furbush addressed the Board and participants and thanked everyone for all their <br /> time and effort on this project. He believed there were only a few more items from the last <br /> meeting that need to be discussed. <br /> Attorney, Ilana Quirk thanked the Board for scheduling a special meeting. Since the last <br /> session there have been revisions to the plan, and those revisions have been reviewed by <br /> the attendees, and a draft decision was provided last week that was also given to the <br /> abutting land owners. The abutting land owners met with the applicant on a number of <br /> occasions to review the issues that were discussed at the last meeting between the Board, <br /> the abutters,and applicant. There was a draft of motions submitted to the Board to consider <br /> in relation to the draft decision, especially with the revisions that were discussed at the last <br /> meeting. <br /> Brian Kuchar, the Engineer for the project was present, and has revised the site plan. He <br /> met with Charlie Rowley, Consulting Engineer representing the Town on this project to <br /> look at the site design and addressed some of the issues raised in his review. Brian <br /> submitted a revised plan set dated February 2021, with a revised lighting plan, and a draft <br /> of the storm water analysis to Mr. Rowley. He presented the revised site plan and went <br /> through the concerns from the abutting neighbor at South Cape Resort. <br /> 1 <br /> r <br /> 1 <br />
