8 Finance Committee Minutes February 25, 2021 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT Article HELD To see if the Town will vote pursuant to G.L. Chapter 40, Section 15A to authorize the transfer of care, custody and control of that portion of the Town owned conservation land, described as as shown on the Plan entitled from the Conservation Commission to the Board of Selectmen and/or Sewer Commission for purposes of the development and construction of a sewer pumping station and related appurtenances; to authorize the Board of Selectmen and Conservation Commission to petition the General Court for authorization and approval of such transfer in custody and change in use as is required under Article 97 of the Amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and, further, to authorize the Board of Selectmen/ Sewer Commission and Conservation Commission to enter into such agreements and execute any and all instruments on behalf of the Town, upon such terms and conditions as they shall deem to be in the best interest of the Town,to effect said transfer in custody and change in use;or take any other action relative thereto. Article_ To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue available for appropriation to the Other Postemployment Benefits Irrevocable Trust Fund,or take any other action relating thereto. Motion made by Mr. Richardson to recommend the OPEB appropriation as presented. Motion seconded by Mr. McKelvey. VOTE: Unanimous. 7-0. Who administers the appropriation,and is OPEB a State requirement? An updated report would be requested for clarification purposes.
