9 <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> February 25, 2021 <br /> Article HELD <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate $ to establish a budget for the PEG Access and <br /> Cable Related fund for fiscal year 2022, with said appropriation to be funded through the <br /> current balance of the fund, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Article HELD <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue <br /> available for appropriation, to be deposited into special injury leave indemnity fund, (Injured on <br /> Duty Fund), in accordance with the provisions of General Law Chapter 41, Section 111F for the <br /> purposes of funding injury leave compensation or medical bills incurred under said law, or take <br /> any other action relating thereto. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Miller to recommend the Injured-on Duty Fund article. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Furbush. <br /> The motions were respectively withdrawn to obtain additional information. Is this specifically for <br /> Police and Fire to provide a continued level of compensation when an officer is on leave? Do the <br /> employees receive workman's compensation in addition to this fund? Why doesn't an insurance <br /> fund take care of this? The article was HELD for additional clarification. <br /> Article_ <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the total expenditures for the following revolving <br /> funds pursuant to G.L. Ch. 44 Section 53E Y2 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021 to be <br /> expended in accordance with the Bylaw establishing said revolving funds, heretofore approved, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> FUND FY 2022 AUTHORIZATION <br /> RECREATION $580,000 <br /> LIBRARY $20,000 <br /> SENIOR CENTER $15,000 <br /> HISTORICAL COMMISSION $2,500 <br /> Motion made by Mr. Richardson to recommend the revolving fund article as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Miller. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 7-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Pettengill, yes Mr. McKelvey,yes Mrs. Furbush, yes Mr. Richardson, yes <br /> Mr. Miller, yes Mr. Brady, yes Mr. Carrier, yes Opposed, none <br />
