Agent said he's walked the trail that has been flagged by the NEMBA to assess it. The Commission <br /> discussed concerns about parking, erosion, and potential ATV damage. Lev Malakhoff said he has <br /> ideas about parking to discuss with the Agent. Agent explained to the commission that mountain <br /> biking has always been an acceptable and allowable use on all conservation lands, under Chapter <br /> 173. He also said the trail will help relieve some of the pressure on Long River Trail. Regarding ATV <br /> usage, Agent said this kind of responsible use helps to reduce illegal uses. Lev Malakhoff said there <br /> are ways to deter motorized bikes/ATV when designing the trail. <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to accept the NEMBA proposal, Mr.Weeden seconded. <br /> Vote: 4-2-0 motion passed <br /> • Proposal/Discussion/Vote: Proposed sewer substation on Conservation parcel <br /> (0 Mashpee Neck Road) <br /> Anastasia Rudenko from GHD and Tom Fudala from the Sewer Commission discussed <br /> plans for the proposed sewer substation. The Commission discussed the possibility of other locations <br /> for the substation that do not involve Article 97 land. The general consensus of the group was that <br /> further discussion/review is needed.
