Sewer Commission: No report <br /> Public Access: Ken referred to the reports provided earlier in the meeting by both DNR and <br /> the DPW. <br /> Waterways Improvement Plans: <br /> LGIGR Expansion Project: Dick Noonan reported that we have finished a major phase of <br /> surveying, core sampling and testing of the proposed dredge areas. No significant issues were <br /> uncovered in terms of chemical deposits or other hazardous materials. We are still investigating <br /> where we can place the dredge materials. We are still exploring potential town lands as well as <br /> approved private lands. A meeting with our consultant BSC will be scheduled to review the <br /> findings of the project to date and the specific next steps to be taken. <br /> New Business: <br /> No new business put forth. <br /> Additional Topics: <br /> Ken reported on the challenges getting the Poppy Spit Channel dredged. He also reported that <br /> the County dredge, boosterfront end loader and all pipe now heading to Falmouth. One pipe <br /> will be sunk on the Sound side of the spit and will be noted by the orange ball pipe markers. <br /> Adjournment <br /> There being no further business a motion to adjourn was made by Don MacDonald, seconded <br /> by Al Wickel and unanimously approved by all present at 9:39am. We made the 9:45 deadline. <br /> The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 8, 2021.
