11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 26, 2021 <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Mashpee Chamber of Commerce: The Mashpee Chamber has moved their office to Mashpee Commons on <br /> Steeple Street above the movie theater sharing a room with CapeSpace. The new site location should be an <br /> improvement with increased public interaction. <br /> Mashpee Robotics Team: The Mashpee High School Robotics team winners of the Southern New England <br /> Championship finished in second place at the World Challenge. The students and technology program were <br /> highly regarded by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins made note of the following information; <br /> The Clean Water Plan is on the Town's website and on the Town's Facebook page. <br /> As a reminder Town Meeting will be held on Monday,May 3,2021 at the grounds of the Mashpee High School <br /> under a large tent sited on the stadium field at 7:00 p.m. <br /> The Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday,May 8, 2021 at the Quashnet School gymnasium <br /> from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> On Wednesday,April 28, 2021,the commercial yard waste program at the Transfer Station will begin operations. <br /> Informational packets will be distributed to Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee members who are <br /> participating in the negotiating process with Comcast for cable and telecommunication services. <br /> The Fire Department is the recipient of a grant in the amount of$99,384.78 for radio upgrades. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to adjourn at 7:41 p.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
