Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great JVeck load J%i d1 <br /> AM, Mashpee,Alassachusetts 02649 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> SP-2021-3 8 <br /> Owner, Driscoll Cape 1969 LLC Bk.: 30134 <br /> 61 Echo Road Pg.: 129 <br /> (Map 19 Parcel 3-6) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on May 10, 2021 by Owner, Driscoll Cape 1969, LLC requesting a <br /> Special Permit under §174-25 (G) (4)and (G) (6)of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for(4,500 <br /> sq. ft.) warehouse space, (1,500 sq. ft.) front office space, and a second story storage area <br /> of(1,500 sq. ft.),to be utilized as an electrical shop on property located in the 1-1 and Light <br /> Industrial Overlay Zoning Districts, at 61 Echo Road, Map 19 Parcel 3-6, Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Note: Building Permit was issued back in 2016). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter <br /> 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 14, 2021 and May 21, 2021. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, June <br /> 9, 2021 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and <br /> acting throughout; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board <br /> Members, Ron Bonvie, Scott Goldstein, and Norman J. Gould. <br /> Owner,Brendan Driscoll represented himself for Special Permit relief of his electrical shop <br /> business. He made his presentation through virtual remote access. The initial project was <br /> presented to the Plan Review Committee on August 2, 2016, and was given the required <br /> construction recommendations. The business use has been active in the current building <br /> since 2017 at which time a building permit and certificate of occupancy was issued. He <br /> was recently contacted by the Building Department because it was determined that no <br /> Special Permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals was issued for his electrical business <br /> use. He has a second location located in Medford, MA. <br /> Chairman Furbush wanted to confirm that the site plan and everything that was proposed <br /> is accurate and completed. <br /> 1 <br />
