Minutes of Meeting <br /> Plan Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Scott Carline Police Chief: <br /> Asked for the hours of operation, and if there was a night shift at the site. Jamie said the <br /> hours are typically 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. There may be a need for Saturday work hours during <br /> the peak seasons, but are scheduled according to their needs. There should be no <br /> employees' onsite during overnight hours. <br /> Jack Phelan, Deputy Fire Chief: <br /> • Asked if the site will have a security gate system. <br /> • A Knox Box or similar will be required at the gate for overnight. <br /> • The two buildings will have the same address. <br /> • A determination will be required at the Board of Health meeting regarding the amount <br /> of waste oil and some of the other products that will be stored onsite for permitting. <br /> Jamie said that he had a discussion with Mark, Cape & Islands regarding the security gate, <br /> and should be depicted on the plan. The address will remain the same for both buildings. He <br /> will have a conversation with the Board of Health. <br /> Dave Morris, Building Commissioner: <br /> Asked if the second building was for storage or used for vehicles. Jamie said the building is <br /> for both. The materials are stored under a cover in the shop space to keep it dry during the <br /> winter. Items such as lawn mowers, snow plows, and snow blowers. <br /> Catherine Laurent DPW Director: <br /> Dave read her comments into the record, and recommendations are as follows: <br /> 1. A curb cut permit will be required from DPW. <br /> 2. A stone tracking pad shall be required at the construction entrance(s). <br /> 3. The radius at the entrance shall be widened further to accommodate trucks and <br /> trucks with trailers. <br /> 4. Cape Cod berm shall be provided at the entrance and exit, extending along the <br /> existing edge of pavement of Echo Road for a minimum additional distance of 10 <br /> feet. <br /> Jamie said he received these comments. <br /> There was no more discussion. <br /> Glen made a motion that the committee approve the site plan, and plans as presented with <br /> the following conditions; <br /> • Board of Health review the septic design and site plan. <br /> • A Knox Box be provided on the entrance gate. <br /> • The amount of waste oil will be determined at the Board of Health meeting. <br /> • The Planning Department comments be addressed as presented. <br /> • The DPW concerns be addressed. <br /> 3 <br />
