Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Cotton at 6:34 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday,March 8, 2021 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the Regular Session minutes of Monday, <br /> March 8, 2021 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS&HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Lynne Barbee of 73 Surf Drive stated she is thankful the Select Board is acknowledging the month <br /> of March as Women's History month. <br /> In other matters Ms. Barbee urged the Select Board to make public the proposed development <br /> agreement with Mashpee Commons owners of 187 contiguous acres planned for mixed-use <br /> development. <br /> Discussion and Approval of the request of Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership, Arnold Chace, <br /> Jr., Mashpee Commons II, LLC, and GNRS-MA LLC that the Town of Mashpee loin as a <br /> "Participating Party"in a Three-Party Development Agreement with the Cape Cod Commission for <br /> the Proposed Expansion of Mashpee Commons: <br /> The Select Board met with Arnold Chase, Jr. and Paul Niedzwiecki of Mashpee Commons Limited <br /> Partnership and representing attorney Eliza Cox of Nutter,McClennen&Fish, LLP to request the <br /> Town of Mashpee participate as a"Participating Party" (as defined in Chapter D of the Cape Cod <br /> Commission's regulations) together with the Cape Cod Commission in the proposed Three-Party <br /> Development Agreement process. <br /> Ms. Cox indicated she is aware of questions and ongoing dialogue regarding the specifics of the <br /> project that would engage the Board of Selectmen, the Cape Cod Commission and the general <br /> public. Meetings would be scheduled throughout the process. At this time the matter is procedural <br /> to accept the applicants request for the Town to participate as a "Participating Party." <br /> Board of Selectmen <br />
