We expressed interest as
part of the 151 Project to have the west side of town go to JBCC. We'll find out how
much we actually need to send up there. GHD will do the 30% design and send to
Stantech in 2023. Stantech will do the higher level of design. There was some discussion
on the timeline of when designs are completed and if they will sync up with the project.
It was determined that this will not be a problem, designs can be viewed prior to the
deadlines if necessary.
Andy Gottlieb said we left the meeting with Converge Partners saying we'll evaluate our
offer with our existing plans for Phase 2. Right now their long term plan is to have an
Upper Cape regional facility. They have yet to explain why they are more financially
advantageous to us.
The Town Manager assigned Chris Gallagher to be the liaison and keep in touch with this.
Chris said right now, we're not interested in what they offered.
Mr. Lyons said there's no substantiation, no plan, it's a broken down plant...he cautioned
us to even think about using the base.
GHD/Chairman/Town Engineer report on June 10 WRRF fire protection meeting and any
subsequent activities
