COVID-19 Update. Mr. Harrington commented that the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> Monitored epidemiological data from the MA Department of Public Health and Barnstable <br /> County Department of Health &Environment <br /> • Participated in twice weekly webinars with the Department of Public Health, weekly <br /> conference calls with the Cape Cod Health Agents'Coalition,and weekly virtual meetings with <br /> the Cape Cod Vaccine Subcommittee <br /> • Communicated daily with the Mashpee Schools' District Nurse Coordinator,the VNA,and the <br /> Community Tracing Collaborative (CTC) regarding new cases, contact tracing, clusters, and <br /> trends <br /> • Scheduled weekly check-in calls with the VNA and the CTC to go over cases and exposure <br /> information <br /> • Provided updated case numbers to the public safety answering point and the Town Manager's <br /> Office <br /> • Desponded to many calls from the public inquiring about when and where to receive the <br /> COVI D-1.9 vaccine, hour to quarantine, where to,get tested for COVI D-19, and how to comply <br /> with the Travel Order <br /> • Reviewed protocols for the Mashpee winter sports season <br /> • Advised a variety of workplaces and businesses regarding COVID-19 exposures, contact <br /> tracing, return-to-work protocols, and deep cleaning <br /> • Communicated with long-term care facilities and the Executive Office of Elder Affairs <br /> regarding isolation and quarantine, contact tracing,vaccinations,and PPE protocols <br /> + Stayed up-to-date on the revision of the quarantine requirement from 14 days to 10 days for <br /> the Travel Order, temporary rapacity restrictions for some businesses and workplaces, <br /> extension of the deadline for influenza vaccination for school-aged children until the end of <br /> February, and information on the new COVID-19 variant <br /> • Monitored updates regarding the statewide COVID-19 vaccine rollout, including prioritization <br /> order,and Emergency Use Authorization information from the FDA. <br /> I <br />
