Any employee, after.20 years of service, upan retirement or who dies in.Town Service,who has accumulated sick leave in excess of four hundred eighty(480)hours shall receive eight (8) hours compensation 'for every sixteen (16) hours he has a'ctumulated beyond four hundred eighty(480)hours. ARTICLE XIV BEREAVE. NT)LEAVE Effective July 1,21f20,amend`Article XIU BEREAVEMENT LEAVE,as follows: i r i In the event of a death in the employee's immediate family, the Town will grant up to four{4j business days leave without loss of pay within 14 days of death or at discretion of the Town.For. F the purposes ofthls provision immediate family shall mean:wife,husband,mother,step-mother, father, step-father,child,step-child,brother or sister, and step-brather ar step=sister. i An employee will be granted up to two (2),business days'leave with loss of pay in the event of a death of a brother-in=law, sister-in-law, m0ther-in4aw,fatherAn-la nr or,grandparents. F 1 ARTICLE KVI PERSONAL DAYS i Effective November A,2020,amend Article XVI PERSONAL DAYS,as follows: i All regular full-time employees, after probation,shall be allowed two personaldays per year for he purpose of transacting jmportant business,bf a personal nature which I impossible to transact during the ,normal, working hours. Any employee covered under this'Collective Bargaining Agreement may exchange up to two (2) vacation,days for up to t personal days during the fiscal year that maybe used in hourly increments.
