The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> IT WAS MOVED by Melinda Baker to approve the minutes for March 2,2021. Noelle Pina <br /> seconded the motion. The minutes were approved by a unanimous vote. <br /> The Minutes for April 6,June 15,and June 22 were deferred and are still awaiting approval. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Affordable Housing Projects in Development(Reporting will occur as projects move ahead) <br /> 1.Mashpee Commons Expansion Plan: A Presentation by Buff Chace and Paul <br /> Niedzwiecki and Julie Creamer <br /> Mr. Chace introduced himself,his colleague Mr.Niedzwiecki,and Ms.Kramer from POAH. Mr. Chace <br /> mentioned that Chairman had asked him previously what affordable housing resources he would be using <br /> for at the Mashpee Commons Chap 40Bproject.Mr. Chace then thanked Mr.Isbitz for introducing him <br /> to POAH at that time as a resource. <br /> Mr. Chace noted he is entering into a Development Agreement process with the Town of Mashpec and <br /> the Cape Cod Commission.He wants to use the land surrounding the existing Mashpee Commons <br /> buildings forhis expansion plan,but also makes a dramatic zoning change. The current zoning is <br /> predominantly commercial, whereas he wants to refocus on mixed use with the emphasis on housing. <br /> Mr. Chace pointed out that the Cape Cod Commission's(the "Commission")newly updated Regional <br /> Policy Plan("RPP")categorizes 8 different place types. The RPP defines one of these place types, <br /> entitled"Community Activity Centers",as particularly suited to the development of housing.Mashpee <br /> Commons is designated by the Commission as a Community Activity Center,and is the first to begin a <br />
