Gangemi Bk.: 31638 <br /> 41 Echo Road(Map 19 Parcel 3-8) Pg.: 111 <br /> Trustee of the 81 Echo Road Realty Trust <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 20, 2019 by Petitioner, Triple M Management requesting a <br /> modification to an existing Special Permit(SP-2015-33) under §174-24 (J) (C), and(K) if <br /> applicable, to allow for construction of an addition to an existing 1,500 sq. ft. medical <br /> marijuana facility, which will have a footprint of 3,700 sq. ft., and a mezzanine and <br /> basement of 1,800 sq. ft. each to accommodate a recreational use marijuana dispensary in <br /> addition to the existing medical use dispensary. (Owner of record: 29 Echo Road, Triple <br /> M Management), and (Owner of record: 41 Echo Road, Ronald Gangemi, Trustee of 81 <br /> Echo Road Realty Trust. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter <br /> 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 28, 2019 and July 5, 2019 a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, July <br /> 24, 2019 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present; <br /> Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board Members, Ron <br /> Bonvie, Scott Goldstein, and Associate Member Sharon Sangeleer. <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applicant's request for a modification of their <br /> existing Special Permit of a medical marijuana facility located in the industrial zone. Also <br /> present was Jim Vaccaro, Consultant and Managing Director of the facility. Also present <br /> was Matt Costa, of Cape & Islands Engineering. The Board granted a Special Permit for <br /> the medical dispensary at 29 Echo Road back in 2015, and since that time, the Town has <br /> voted at Town Meeting to reject the bylaw to preclude the sale of recreational use <br /> marijuana, and it is now an allowed use under Section J if granted a Special Permit by the <br /> ZBA. <br /> 1 <br />
