MEETING MINUTES <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> SEPTEMBER 11, 2019 <br /> Charlie commented that an open deck or plat form is allowed 4 ft. into the setback. If they <br /> kept the deck at 21 ft., it's 19.5. <br /> Mr. Bonvie asked the applicant what relief he was seeking. The applicant said that he is <br /> allowed 4 ft., he is requesting 1 ft. 5 inches. The Board had a discussion regarding the <br /> measurements depicting 19.5 ft. on the plan, and determined that the applicant could be <br /> allowed 2 ft. <br /> Chairman Furbush asked what the dimensions were on the shed. The applicant said that it <br /> is 5.5 ft. from the lot line, and is permitted. <br /> Sharon read the Conservation and Board of Health comments into the record. Sharon also <br /> read the abutter letters into the record. <br /> There were no more comments from the Board and no comments from the audience. <br /> Mr.Bonvie made a motion that the Board issues a Variance in the amount of 2 ft.to Owner, <br /> Leo Surette of 26 Greenwood Road from the front yard setback under§174-31 fn. 19(Land <br /> Space Requirements Table) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a deck on <br /> property located in an R-3 Zoning District, and Popponesset Overlay District, Map 117 <br /> Parcel 179, Mashpee, MA 02649, with the following conditions; <br /> 1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Variance <br /> under Mass General Law 40A Section 10. <br /> 2. Plot Plan Prepared for Leo Sur_ette, 26 Greenwood Road,Mashpee, MA. Scale: 1" <br /> =20', Date: June 20, 2019, Reference: Assess.
