MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT MODIFICATION <br /> Owners, Kailey and Adam Cullen <br /> 588 Main St. (31 Evergreen Circle) (Map 19 Parcel 10-10) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> SP-2020-34 <br /> Chairman Furbush reviewed the plan dated August 7,2020, and wanted clarification of the <br /> specific plants listed. Some of the plantings listed were not drawn on the plan and would <br /> need to be corrected. Jonathan gave his opinion on Leyland Cypress and said they may <br /> require a lot of pruning. Roy said the larger trees will need to be hand-watered. <br /> Kailey said that they are open to any ideas that the Board provides. There was discussion <br /> of the certain species of plants and benefits to screening of the building. Sharon read the <br /> Conservation Comments. Charlie wanted to know what the time-line was for the <br /> landscaping. Adam and Kailey are hoping to have plantings start in October, and finish <br /> before the winter. The Board would like a confirmed date to complete the landscaping. <br /> There were no more comments from the Board. <br /> In view of the foregoing, the Board determined the Petitioner met the criteria for a <br /> Modification.Upon motion duly made and seconded at the Public Hearings on Wednesday, <br /> September 9, 2020, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to issue a <br /> Modification to the existing Special Permits (SP-2018-54) and (SP-2019-50) for 31 <br /> Evergreen Circle, Owners, Kailey and Adam Cullen, Cape Cod Dog Center, Inc. to allow <br /> for current plantings/ landscape plan in keeping with the reduction of the building size <br /> granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals on property located in an I1 Zoning District, Map <br /> 19 Parcel 10-10, Mashpee, MA, with the following conditions; <br /> 1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a <br /> Modification to the Special Permits (SP-2018-54) and (SP-2019-50) under Mass <br /> General Law 40A Section 9. <br /> 2. Landscape Plan prepared by ConSery Group Inc., for Cape Cod Doc Center, 31 <br /> Evergreen Circle, Mashpee, MA, Date: 8/7/20, Scale: 1/16" = 1', Drawn: CADD, <br /> Sheet Title: Landscape Plan, Sheet&Job #: LS-1. <br /> 3. Conditioned on all Town Department comments read into the record. <br /> 4. Conditioned that the plantings be installed by November 1, 2020. <br /> 5. Conditioned that the Board receive a revised landscape plan that depicts the <br /> corrected plantings. <br /> 2 <br />
